Thinking of Grading?

David

Gradings are held typically every 3 to 4 months.

If you want to be able to grade then you need:

1. To be training at least 2 times a week

2. To have an up to date Licence

REMEMBER: It is your responsibility to check that your licence is valid.
Do not leave it until just before gradings, because you are not covered by insurance if it has expired.

  • Students are expected to attend all available lessons before the next grading.

Adults can train 3 days a week!
Juniors can train 2 days a week!
How many days to you train?

  • You can not grade or attend courses if your membership/licence book has expired.
  • Licence fee £25 for KYU grades.
  • License renewals and new applications are sent to head office and can take 2-3 weeks to return.
  • New students who have trained for 4 lessons or more should consider applying for a membership/licence book -  £25 annual fee.
  • Students grading must be able to demonstrate all the syllabus required for their grading.

Please remember, Training on a regular basis – benefits in every way.

Shotokan Karate Training is not a ‘Quick Fix’ Martial Art. It takes time and effort to advance. Be Patient.
